Same problem with PC und Mac and different USB Sticks. And I already made a factory reset on ATV. What can I Do?

The Manage Plugins and Install Extras menu lists are populated from the internet? Does your Apple TV currently have a working internet connection?
Any firewall software? Are you able to access http://dl.firecore.com/ from your computer?

Have you seen may Video?
There you can see that appletv shows the cover of itunes store videos.
So the internet connection is working.
If have mac mountain lion, no firewall.
I have access to http://dl.firecore.com, then I can see the fire core homepage.
Please see my video, then you can see that the system crush when I try to download the plugins.
Any Ideas?

Hmmm…have you tried power-cycling the Apple TV?
Also, can you double-check that you’re running the latest 3.0.2 Apple TV software (check on Apple TV in Settings > General > About)
