Infuse says Jellyfin password incorrect

Good afternoon,

Infuse continually say password is incorrect for Jellyfin (I don’t have a password for my Jellyfin profile). To solve, I go in to edit the server, don’t actually edit, and save. This fixes the problem for about a day and then it happens again. Anyone else have this problems? Suggestions?

Thanks!
Dave

Are you using the latest 10.6.2 version of Jellyfin and Infuse 6.4.7?

If this happens again, can you send in a report (and post the 5 digit code here) so we can look into this?

Thanks for the quick response. I’m not actually getting an error code (unless I need to look somewhere else). It says “An Error Occurred - Your username and password combination isn’t right. Please try again.” It does this on not tvOS and iOS. I’ve tried deleting and re-adding the share, but I get the same behavior. I had it working fine before, but I PC crapped out and I’ve been having the problem ever since.

I believe what James wanted is that if it happens again go to the “Settings” menu in Infuse and scroll down to Support where you see “Submit Diagnostics” click that and you will be given a code. Post that code here in this thread.

Also could you clarify

Is it happening on both tvOS and iOS or only on one or the other?

Lastly, you didn’t answer James questions on versions

Apologies for failing miserably on my response. Let me try this again:

-The diagnostics code is N1BNM.
-I had the latest version of Infuse, but was working off of Jellyfin 10.6.0. I’ve now update to 10.6.2 and will see if that fixes the problem. I will note that this was happening prior to the release of 10.6.
-I meant to say that it is happening on both tvOS and iOS.

Thanks!
