Understood. But that’s why many of us were buying the new versions…
After thinking about it for a bit. I’m not even bothered by the idea of no discounts for loyalty users. In 2016 I bought Pro for $17.99. In 2019 I upgraded to Pro 6 for $30. I’ve gotten 5+ years for $48 bucks. Which I was happy to pay and felt good about the product and supporting by continuing purchasing.
Now with no option to purchase 7 outright. I see the option of getting the lifetime. I’m sure there were others hoping for some sort of loyalty pricing (Someone even mentioned instead of the free year give it off the lifetime. Which would have been nice).
The part that does now bother me tho is. Infuse knew there were users hoping for some sort of discount. But instead, they not only didn’t give a discount (Which I’m not hurt by. C’est la vie) but didn’t give any notice of bumping up the cost on the lifetime just before the release of 7. Now the lifetime for me is $105… Infuse made it kinda known no discount would be happening. So I don’t fault them at all. But geez… I wish they would of said something like "Hey guys. Sorry no discounts. But just an FYI. If you’re planning on buying a lifetime. Get it now before prices increase!).
I’m a little let down by that to be honest.
