MAC address question for Wake on LAN

Hello, I have a question regarding Wake-on-LAN, I have seen other posts here stating that when setting up an SMB share, inputting the MAC address in the Advanced section should allow the serving computer to Wake once Infuse is started up on the streaming device. I have input the MAC address from System Settings - Wi-Fi - Details… - Wi-Fi Address and then the “Wi-Fi address” which is in the xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx format and but it hasn’t worked.
