Infuse on Apple TV sometimes works but usually can't connect

I’ll be honest, I’m very disappointed. A few months ago, I installed Infuse on Apple TV and sync it with my movie collection. I was excited, so I immediately subscribed to the Pro version.

In a while problems began and Infuse sometimes failed to connect to the Macbook Pro. Today, it can connect only about once in 20 attempts. I have no idea what the problem is. I feel like I’ve tried everything. Sometimes Macbook Air connects out of nowhere and the Macbook Pro doesn’t work. Sometimes they both go, usually neither.

  • I have SMB turned on.

  • There is at least one user in Windows File Sharing.

  • I am connected to one wifi.

  • Username and password are OK.

Sometimes I use a VPN, sometimes I connect anyway. I don’t know if there may be a problem.

The bottom line is that I don’t change any settings, and sometimes it works, but usually Infuse doesn’t connect. Apple TV, Macbook, and Infuse are the latest versions.

If anyone can help me, I will be very grateful because it is extremely frustrating when my girlfriend and I order food and we are going to watch a movie and it never works. Well thank you.
