Since i added another Synology NAS box,every time I go into a favourites folder it has a delay while it redownloads the metadata. I tried deleting the the metadata but that made no difference. Eveything else works fine.Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this.
Have you let it complete the scans since the addition of the second NAS? You can go to the library settings page and monitor what’s going on and let it complete everything. After that it should be good to go. If you delete the metadata it will continue to try to build the library so probably best not to delete it.
Define delay, few seconds, minutes, longer? Is it freezing the screen or just slow to load the pictures?
Thanks for the reply. i have let it run for a few day but without success. Now when I open infuse it downloads for a frw minutes, then stops as it used to. The delay is just a few seconds.
Could you go to the library settings page as soon as you start infuse and watch the messages on the left hand side and see what process it’s doing for the few minutes?
It was updating icloud so I left it for a fer hours untill it had finished and its back to normal now. thanks for all your help.
