Infuse issues when using Plex DLNA server

I recently purchased the infuse app for the Apple TV 4.
The app does a really good job, retrieves the metadata very well, plays everything, …
The only thing is that after a while (a week, 2 weeks or a month), the infuse app suddenly fails to connect to the PLEX DLNA server for updating the library.
The items that are synched before can play without problems with the infuse app but no new items are added.
This is the third time i encountered this problem.

The only thing i can do then is to create the share again and perform again a full sync.

Does anyone have a solution, or encountered the same problems?

What may be happening is the Plex IP is changing (due to a restart perhaps) which causes it to break in Infuse.

We’re working to add deeper integration for Plex, but for now you may try assigning a static IP to your Plex server (either on the device side, or through your router) to see if that helps.
