It is very unlikely that PS5 support will come - Infuse is focused on Apple products (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac) and has (seemingly) no intention to branch out to other platforms (Android, PC, PS5, etc.), as this would be a huge time investment and they’d have to dump/rework most of their existing code for it to be feasible.

Been using Infuse 5 on Apple TV for months now, probably the best product of its kind, no doubt for me (and I have been using Plex, Kodi and others for years).
Now, my secret goal is to reduce the number of devices in my living room. I have a PS4, great device for (obv) gaming, but also for Netflix, even internet browsing.
The only reason why an Apple TV is needed besides it is Infuse. There is no convenient way to use Ps4 as a trustworthy media center client. Plex Ps4 client will transcode like crazy, will not allow for subtitles handling on PS4.
Infuse would be the perfect addition to a fully operational Ps4 based home entertainment system.
Do you guys have any plans for this to happen in a near future ? I wouldn’t mind buying another license for a ps4 version and get rid of the apple tv which, except for Infuse, is really not worth the price paid.
Or any plans for the new XBox one X maybe ?

Did you consider to port Infuse on Playstation 4?
I think PS4 lacks good video player with lot of video formats and SMB support. Also, new PS4 Slim is fantastic device, which runs very quiet and is very capable for watching movies. PS4 has quite big, over 40 milions of users base which are willing to pay for good software.
Currently, video on PS4 can be controlled by gamepad and also by new PS4 remote released not so long ago.
I would love to use Infuse on PS4!

I was now thinking the same and I searched it here and found your post, but I don’t think it will happen any time soon. Your post is from Oct-16 and its 17 now
