Infuse fails only on one macOS user account

Hi,

I’m seeing a strange issue with Infuse 8.5.5712 on a Mac mini M4 running macOS 27 Beta 4.

Infuse works perfectly on:

  • MacBook Air M4 (same macOS & Infuse version)
  • iPhone
  • Apple TV

It only fails on my main user account on the Mac mini.

I created a new macOS user on the same Mac mini, installed Infuse, and everything works perfectly there.

I’ve already:

  • Reinstalled Infuse
  • Deleted all Infuse containers and group containers
  • Disabled iCloud Sync
  • Tried adding my SMB share manually

SMB works fine in Finder and with smbutil view, but Infuse immediately reports “An error occurred while connecting.”

With iCloud Sync enabled, it instead says “Indexing failed for Asustor” and the library remains empty.

Has anyone seen this before, or is there a way to enable more detailed logging?

Thanks!

I also checked the macOS Console logs. There are no SMB, authentication or network errors—only generic CoreUI warnings and repeated sandbox messages. Since Infuse works perfectly in a newly created macOS user account on the same Mac, this appears to be specific to my original user profile

Solution: Toggle Local Network permission for Infuse OFF, wait about 10 seconds, then enable it again. Simply toggling it off/on immediately did not work. After waiting a few seconds before re-enabling, SMB started working again.
