So I finally pulled the trigger on aTV Flash for my 2nd Gen and I couldn't be happier. I really like Infuse, especially compared to XBMC. The way it's integrated is just really nice, and it's much easier for my family to navigate. However, I'm running into a little bit of an issue. Sometimes, we have TV episodes or movies that we add to the SMB share on our Windows server, we watch them, and then decide that we don't want to keep them. I can definitely delete them, but they're not being removed from Infuse. XBMC had a feature where you could clean your library; is there a similar feature in Infuse? I havne't been able to find anything like that. Thanks!
No thoughts/feedback? Is this just something that Infuse can't do? Thanks.
Are you deleting these from within Infuse, or on the SMB share manually?
If deleted manually, they will be removed from Infuse automatically during the next scan which usually happens once per day.
If you opt to delete them from within Infuse, the actual videos will be removed from the SMB share as well as the entry in the Infuse library.
To delete a video
- Enable ‘File Management’ through the Infuse > Settings > General menu.
- Locate the file to be deleted.
- Hold the center (select) button and select the ‘Delete’ option.
Hope this helps.
