It’s something we can consider for a future update.
One thing you can do now is adjust how Infuse behaves when clicking the Play/Resume button. The option for this can be found in Infuse > Settings > Playback > Resume Playback, and you can choose from On (always resume), Off (always start from beginning), or Ask (display a prompt so you can choose for each video).
The iCloud links now don’t crash and show up each time. That’s great. Thanks for the fix. Is there any way at some point the whole of a series could be added instead of the individual seasons/series? Would be perfect then. Thanks for your continued hard work.
Thank you for adding this, navigating through the menus was always a hassle. I’m much more likely to use the feature now.
If I can suggest two improvements:
The playback UI seems to stay visible no matter how long I hold, which is a bit annoying as the episode title & playback bar cover the subtitles. I’ve tried dozens of times to be sure, and the UI dismissed after a few seconds only once. Ideally, I think it should be dismissed/hidden instantly (in the same way hold to 2x speed works on iPhone/iPad).
Since it’s a physical click on the remote and not a touch, holding the select button on the remote for more than 10/15 secs can become a bit uncomfortable. I wonder if it would be better to “lock” to 2x speed instead. Meaning: hold the button to enable 2x speed (which would remain active when you lift your finger), then hold the button again to disable it and return to 1x speed. If feasible, this could either replace the current behavior, be added as a toggle option in the settings, or perhaps assigned to the play/pause button instead?
Does anyone know why the 8.3.2 update changed the SWIPE UP Feature while playing video on the AppleTV to the Subtitle Button instead of the “Playlist Queue Button?” I’m one who watches hundreds of TV episode clips in a playlist and the 8.3.1 update which introduced the “Playlist Queue Button” allowed the AppleTV user to swipe up which hit the “Playlist Queue Button”, which is Awesome to change video in the playlist instantly rather than “menu-ing” back to the list. So now I have to Swipe UP, then Swipe Left to toggle the “Playlist Queue Button” every time I want to change a video while playing a video live.
