FIXED

  • Fixed missing episodes in search results sorted by release date
  • Fixed hangs on search when browsing results (tvOS)
  • Fixed select version popup behavior when landscape lock is ON (iOS)
  • Fixed control overlap of search results in Search/Library (iOS)
  • Fixed incorrect color of quick buttons in light mode (iOS)
  • Fixed an issue when adding a Plex share in Add Files
  • Fixed partly hidden watched progress bar when focusing on an item (tvOS)
  • Other minor improvements and fixes

Any chance you’re going to fix the library showing collections when sorting by plays? It’s really annoying to have to search through all the collections when they shouldn’t be shown at all, unless you actually want to see them.

Beyond that, still waiting on, and would very much love, the option to sort by unwatched instead of Plays. That would fix 90% of the organizational issues with Plex movies.

I have two AppleTV 4k both with tvOS 26.

One is showing 8.2.6 with the new Liquid Glass view and the other is showing in the older orange.

What might be causing this?

Only gen 2 and 3 of the ATV4K will utilize the new liquid glass interface. Gen 1 of the 4K ATV can’t.

Oh wow.

Is this also on the tvOS side as well?

Is there a way to use the orange interface in the gen 3?

Is the watched status of downloaded shows supposed to change if the show is watched directly on another device? Started watching a downloaded show on iPad and finished watching it on AppleTV, but when I came back to the iPad the show is still at the same spot asking to resume and not being marked as watched. Both devices are linked to the same trakt account and are online.

First screen is from the downloads section and the second screen is from the folder of the show (which shows the episode as being watched):

I have the same issue. I have 2 identical devices set up EXACTLY the same in 2 different rooms and they don’t sync correctly if I watch a TV show in one room and continue in another, then go back to the original room the ‘watched time’ is in exactly the same place I left it, I have to close the app and refresh for it to sync to the new ‘watched time’

Yup. Killing the App every time I wake up one of my AppleTVs has become the norm now. Get a sync failed error if I dont.

Can the external ratings please be un-duplicated at some point? Surely it’s not hard to do, or will take much development time. Either 2 ratings (Modern view) – one next to the runtime at the bottom of the screen, and then the newer ratings (Imbd, Metacritic, etc) at the top right of the screen. Get rid of the one next to runtime….
