*This is a new feature on Plex and some existing items may not have logos present. Using the ‘Refresh Metadata’ option on Plex can be used on an item (or in bulk) to update existing items with logos.
Wow, thanks James for the simple explanation. I am curious to have these on all the files do I have to refresh all metadata on plex and infuse both or just infuse will do?
It’s a feature that was recently added in Plex, so chances are most of your existing items do not have logos fetched yet. Refreshing the metadata in Plex should fix this.
If they are still missing in Infuse after refreshing in Plex you can also try refreshing metadata in Infuse.
Would it be possible to make the Apple TV version of the Plex logos be in the same position as the macOS version on the ‘Modern’ details view? On Apple TV its in the top left of the screen without replacing the movie name either so it’s just displaying it twice on the same screen. Looks better to how its displayed on macOS where it actually replaces the title. Thanks
I’ve already asked a similar question, but I would like to know if there could be an alternative backup feature to iCloud in the future. I previously mentioned that I ran out of storage space on iCloud, so I had to subscribe to get more storage. That’s a shame since I have 70 TB on pCloud. Is there a possibility that such a feature will be offered in the near future? If this is not planned, I would be grateful for a clear answer so I know exactly where I stand. I’m sure other users would also welcome such features. Infuse
Hi. What will it take to fix the file management issue? Every release I hope it is done but I am left disappointed.
In case you have forgotten, when you delete an episode or movie, it remains displayed on the screen. You then have to go back to the home screen and back into the series to see it removed from the library. The file is deleted but remains displayed. Been ongoing since 7.8.
I think I will copy this post and save it somewhere so I can just paste it with every release until fixed
Hello. I believe this feature is really good. But, it will be bad experience for the users in Hong Kong.
Although users in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China use Chinese, we have different translation on movie title. For example, the movie “Insider out 2”. Hong Kong is “玩轉腦朋友2”, Taiwan is “腦筋急轉彎2” and China is “頭腦特工隊2”. Now, with the implementation of this feature in Infuse, the “stylized title graphics” will either be Taiwan or China one. For this reason, can we (Hong Kong users) have an option to disable it? Thanks.
