Infuse will use iCloud to save various pieces of information so that other devices can access them.
Currently, the app will appear as ‘Infuse Pro 6’ in the list of iCloud apps, which I realize is confusing.
Due to technical limitations imposed by Apple this name cannot be updated once set, but we are currently working to implement a number of iCloud related changes and improvements. Part of this process includes migrating current iCloud data to a new iCloud ‘bucket’ and once this is done there will be a new entry which should appear as ‘Infuse’. Once this happens, the legacy ‘Infuse Pro 6’ item can be deleted and it should not reappear in the future.
The initial round of iCloud related changes will be available soon in the upcoming 8.1.4 version. There will then be a second set of improvements (which should include the new bucket) in 8.1.5.
Will it then also be possible to share my own meter data? For example, with my parents? So that I don’t always have to correct incorrect meter data?
Unfortunately, Apple does not currently allow sharing of iCloud data between accounts. Sorry.
“Although they aren’t responsible for this issue, would it be possible to store meter data outside of iCloud? I personally use pCloud for storage. It would also be fantastic if users could save and share their meter data.”
The best option is already running in a suggestion thread that you’ve added your support to. ![]()
Today’s 8.1.6 update includes major changes for iCloud Sync which should allow everything to work quite a bit better than before. ![]()
