Indexing failed

Hi all.

I am using Infuse 6 and I am having a problem with indexing.
I have two FAVOURITE folders with movies. In there all movie info is shown (Metadata Fetching is set to On).
But in LIBRARY the movies are not shown. If I choose one movie in my FAVOURITE folder and the data once loaded there, I can then go to LIBRARY and then this movie (including the info) is shown there as well. But it would take a long time to manually click on each movie in my FAVOURITE folders first.
In SETTINGS I also clicked on “Scan for changes” but that doesn’t help. Still getting the “Indexing failed for XYZ” message.
What am I doing wrong?
Any suggestions?

Is no one else having this issue?

Welcome to the forum, and sorry to hear you are having trouble.

What type of device are you streaming from? Are you using UPnP or DLNA by chance?

Are these Favorites selected in the Settings > Library menu?

While browsing your folders, do you see the words ‘Local Metadata’ in the top right corner by chance?

Yes, I’m having it, too, with the latest version of Infuse on my ATV4 connecting via NFS to my Synology NAS. The indexing only fails when connecting to the NAS. It works fine indexing my files on my Mac Mini (Snow Leopard Server) via NFS.
