Hello, sorry for the late reply. I’m updated to the most current versions of everything across the board.
Mac Mini M1 (2020)
I have Ethernet and WiFi going at the same time. I can’t remember why i enabled WiFi at the same time, but I think it was do I could wirelessly air print. But my primary is Ethernet.
I set up SMB to share specifically from my Mac’s external drive. It’s all setup under my shared folder. I was doing the local.mac.mini thing and wanted to try something different. It all has the same result either way.
My Mac is set to wake for network.
Like I had mentioned, everything worked great for 8 months or so. I haven’t changed anything other than what I mentioned. Still all behaves the same. Only thing I did last night to get it going was I picked Mac.Mini-local on my shares via Apple TV, and then went back to my regular SMB and it started to work. It was basically like hitting “scan for changes” to wake it up.
This looks to be an issue with the OneDrive service. You may try waiting a bit to see if it starts working or perhaps remove and reconnect the OneDrive connection in Infuse.
Doesn’t look like three times refresh worked for me. I tried looking for changes more than 10 times, but consistently that fails.
Now as some of you mentioned, it is indeed looks like SMB connection to the NAS failure. Not sure where I can see the Infuse logs though on AppleTV to verify this.
So I created a new user, used a new Host name for the NAS and now painfully going through re-indexing everything, which is a lifetime!
Would be really good if this issue can be fixed.
When this happen I checked other Apps on the Apple TV (eg: VidHub) were working fine with the same old user, same old host name, through SMB!)
Really looking forward for a fix. Can’t be re-doing same thing over and over again.
Also, the media files etc can be stored on the NAS share itself. Not on cloud, not on AppleTV.
Sorry if I missed it but I didn’t see where you had provided the requested diagnostics and code.
Also, are all of the Infuse versions current and the same on all devices? There have been some changes along the way where Infuse requires the same version on all deviced that are to be using iCloud sync.
