I think as the previous person said that

It requires a license fee for infuse to display IMDb score

So infuse can’t just pull information from plex

It is a pitty that infuse can’t display IMDb rating, infuse is such a good app

I’m not a lawyer but I don’t know if it would be an issue to just pass through content from another product the user uses. Infuse wouldn’t natively scrape RT to provide the scores to everyone. It would just be displaying user data. In this case the data would be the RT scores from my Plex db.

So every Jellyfin client would have to pay a fee? That sounds ridiculous and unrealistic.

I’d rather hear it from FireCore why and how they could display ratings.

I for one would also like to display custom scores from obscure third party source(s). So a generic solution for this would cater many needs.

@james is it possible to increase infuse yearly price a little, so that the IMDb license fee is covered by the increase of infuse yearly price.

Agreed on IMDB, if only because I use RT on Plex and I recently realized that the Plex rating is actually whatever you use on Plex converted to a 10 point scale.

In Additional Ratings Sources, are these only going to be added:

  • IMDB
  • Rotten Tomato

or will there be more additional ratings to choose from, like:
