Hi there,
I got a several list of music video clips that I would like having Infuse to fetch MD into IMDb.
So far it works well with movies and series with me by using {IMDb-tt1384742} tags
But for some reasons it won’t works with video music who have IMDb video clip profiles.
For an example Beastie Boys - Sabotage who has an official IMDb video clip page, is not recognized at all, either I got to use the clip from YouTube, Beastie Anthology DVD or Spike Jonze director DVD.
Infuse currently doesn’t use IMDB for metadata, it uses TMDB and can reference the IMDB number when fetching metadata from TMDB since TMDB can use the IMDB number to help locate the video.
For the Beastie Boys you may want to try naming the file
Beastie Boys - Sabotage (1994).mkv
TMDB does have an entry for this video.
If you can find your videos on TMDB then you can most likely get a match with the correct name.
You can also (following their strict guidelines) add these to TMDB but make sure if you do that you follow their contributors bible.
That’s all my question here, the video aren’t present on TMDB, only on IMDB, and I can make it fetch with IMDB tags only for movies but not on music videos.
Then you can also join TMDB and add the videos to their database. It’s a user supported site so they rely on users to add new items. Just make sure to follow their contribution bible and formats.
