I’m trying to downgrade my atv2 from 5.3 to 5.2.1. I need to build the shsh blobs and everyone keeps recommending ifaith, however I can’t seem to finda version of ifaith which works on my macbook.

Unless you already have blobs, then you cannot create them for any release which is not installed on the ATV2 andn is not currently being signed by Apple.
In terms of iFaith then the current beta version of SeasonPass (v0.9.2) has iFaith functionality built in and is available for both the Mac and Windows. It is available via a link from http://forum.firecore.com/topic/10330
