I’m running my files of a Plex server on my Synology NAS.

Using infuse on my ATV 4K in the living room and the same setup in the bedroom.

Both ATV are setup identically and so are both infuse clients which are also Pro clients.

For some reason I can’t get them to sync up I regards to playback position.

Like if I’m watching an episode of something in the living room and the go into the bedroom the infuse client won’t show where I left of in the living room.

Looks like everything is fine and I’m logged into the same iCloud account on both clients. I’ve tried reinstalling both clients put nothing seems to help

When connecting to Plex, iCloud isn’t used for syncing credentials or playback progress.

Instead, each device would need to be logged in manually to the same Plex account. Once this is done Infuse would rely on syncing watching history and progress to/from the Plex server instead of iCloud.

Does the correct playback history appear on the Plex server after watching something on an Apple TV?

Okay, so have do one log into Plex manually via infuse. I normally just use the network drive option and the add media server.

Yes, if so watch something on infuse it will see it on the Plex server.

Also if I play something on either ATV I’m able to see watch status on the Plex server
