can anyone tell me if the “icloud sync” setting actually serves any purpose if you’re not using library mode?

i’m guessing it’s need to keep all the devices in sync when you are using library mode, but unsure if it actually does anything when not using library mode.

I’d guess at least the basic layouts and a few other things would be beneficial.
