iCloud sync frequently fails, causing Infuse on Apple TV to be unable to play media properly

Many users have reported that iCloud sync often fails, resulting in Infuse on Apple TV and other devices being unable to play content properly.

It seems that the main cause is that the Infuse versions across iOS and other platforms are not kept in sync.

Could you please explain why iCloud synchronization requires all devices to run the same version of Infuse? Is it due to compatibility issues with the database structure or iCloud sync mechanism?

From time to time, changes are made to Infuse’s library, network share, or iCloud Sync systems. When these changes are introduced, they can limit compatibility with older versions of Infuse.

Devices running the same older version can generally continue syncing with each other, but they may no longer be able to sync with devices running a newer version of Infuse.
