I don't get Atmos on this one file

I get Atmos from Apple Music.
I get Atmos from other mkv files in Infuse.

Just this one Dolby sample I want in my AVTest debug folder, that had two tracks 1:truehd(I know the issues there, so demultiplexed) and an EAC3 backup track. Used mkvtoolnix, and just deleted the other. What did I do wrong? Flagged as default and enabled. Proton Drive

7.1 DD+ Atmos (ie 8 channels) is not support. Only 5.1 DD+ Atmos.

I don’t think this is an Infuse limitation, but an AppleTV one.

doh! Thank you.

This is correct. It seems like a strange limitation, and maybe something that will change in a future tvOS update. :crossed_fingers:

It does seem strange! I thought the EAC3 audio part got decoded to LPCM (which I could have sworn supports 7.1) and that Atmos metadata gets merged in as Dolby MAT.

Yes, you should get 7.1 PCM from these files but no Atmos.
