When I first installed ATV Flash version 3.4.2, my Apple was on it’s last legs. Now it will not boot, and it’s hard drive is making clicking noises. In any case, I am unable to create a new flash stick. I was under the impression that I would be able to upgrade thru the maintenance menu. Is there any way to upgrade without creating a new flash stick. If I wait until a future version is rele, will I be able to upgrade then without a new flash stick.
If this is going to be the way it is, I won’t be happy. :?
Currently a Mac is required to create the flash drive. A PC version is currently in the works.
If your hard drive is clicking, then it is probably time for a new one.
I know that the hard drive is dead, but it’s just not worth it to replace :ugeek: . I dug out the old blue and white tower specifically to install ATV Flash. I’m lucky that the old mac lasted long enough to make the first flash stick. I’m happy with ATV Flash for now, as long as I know that a Windows version is in the works.
Thanks…
