How to share Infuse watch history and metadata between two Macs

Hi. I want to share my Infuse watch history and local metadata from my Mac to a friend’s Mac. We use separate Apple accounts and separate macOS users. Over the years I have watched many movies and shows and do not remember every title.

I don’t know if it’s possible to copy metadata file to my friend’s Mac. Is there a safe method to do this? If a direct transfer is not supported, please suggest the recommended workflow to preserve watched status when moving between Macs.

You could possibly do this using trakt syncing but wouldn’t want things to go the other way, marking things that you haven’t watched. Outside of trakt, as far as I know, your synced status is saved in iCloud and is not user readable.

Your suggestion is good but a bit impractical. I was thinking of manually accessing the metadata and copying the file that contains the content that I watched then replace it on my friend’s Mac. But thanks for the suggestion.
