How do I force new artwork for a TV series?

Hi all,
I did a complete metadata refresh when the new v6 release came out. It helps me keep current and flushes out any gremlins that may have crept in.
However, I have one TV show that will not load TV series artwork. I get the usual grey blank folder.
The show is “Penny Dreadful” and I am operating in Library mode with no local artwork present and Embedded Data is turned off.
TV Season artwork and all metadata loads perfectly, its just the Series artwork that is missing.

I try a long press on the Series folder and no options are presented. Is there another way to force Infuse to go and re-get all artwork for the entire Series?

I’ve had a couple of real cantankerous shows that I’ve had to drag the series folder out of the share, let infuse do it’s updates without it and then re add it back. That’s worked for me on some of the problem series.

Well, talk about interesting. I was curious so I checked mine and low and behold it too didn’t have the series poster but did have the seasons. What got it back for me was to go to S01E01 and do the “Edit Metadata” and selecting the “Penny Dreadful 2014” and after it totally disappeared from the library like it does when you change things until it re downloads everything and it came back with the series poster like it should. So try the edit metadata first.

Tried the move the folder out and add back in and it has created a Series poster from an episode grab, and not the TV Series poster from TVDB.
I will now try the edit metadata for S01E01 instead.

Update: This approach fixed it immediately! Still it shows that something is not quite right with artwork retrieval for this show. It must be cursed :wink:

Artwork is fine if I retrieve via the method you mentioned.
What I am saying is that Infuse must have a problem retrieving the series artwork for this specific TV show.
You can prove this by moving the show out of the scanned shares, let Infuse run an update, then move the show back into the Library. Check it out yourself.

Anyway, problem fixed for now. All good !!

Is the 6.0.5 release addressing this issue mentioned above?
