How do I delete all media player library data an start fresh?

Not sure why but Library mode was showing duplicates for every show and movie I have.  I removed the share and then recommissioned it to no avail.  Now, library won’t finish scanning, it just sits (let it run all night and still hung up) on “fetching data”.  So, my library database is fubar.  I tried uninstalling media player and reinstalling, no luck.

 

How do I just blow out all the library data and start fresh?  can I ssh into the atv2 and delete a directory or something?

You can clear out everything by selecting the Clear All Metadata option found in the Media > Settings > Reset menu.

Doing this will remove the library and any fetched metadata, but will not affect your saved shares.
