I found that the official Emby software can display video, audio, and related information, especially showing details for all versions, as shown in Figure 1. Therefore, when Infuse connects to Emby or Plex servers, I hope Infuse can add such an information page on the movie page—particularly useful when multiple versions are stored, allowing version switching to display corresponding information. I believe this is what most users would appreciate, as it would be a truly delightful feature.
Currently, switching between multiple versions requires a long press on the play button, which is too hidden, leading many users to be unaware of this function. However, this feature is used very frequently. I suggest making the version switch button standalone and placing it next to the play button, as shown in Figure 2. When switching to different video versions, the corresponding detailed information should be displayed.
I noticed that the Playback Info Display (HUD) in the “In Progress” feature somewhat resembles my request—could this be related to the information shown in Figure 3?
Of course, some users may not care about this information, so the information page shown in Figure 1 could be made collapsible, preserving the original layout.
For videos indexed by Infuse, the details might not be as comprehensive, but Infuse seems capable of retrieving file metadata to integrate and display such information on the page.
Users strongly desire this feature, which would significantly enhance Infuse’s functionality and also facilitate user feedback.
