Hide "Toolbar" and "Sidebar" Bugs

1. When in Fullscreen and selecting View → Hide Toolbar all works well but in Fullscreen when selecting View → Hide Sidebar nothing happens. The workaround to activate View → Hide Sidebar to work is to select the Search bar and place the cursor there then select Hide Sidebar
2. Is it normal behavior that both Hide Toolbar and Hide Sidebar are not persistent after a Restart of Infuse? Every time Infuse restarts I have to go back and Hide Toolbar and then do the workaround for Hide Sidebar?
3. Finally is it possible to start Infuse within a specific Folder in the “Files” tab so everytime I restart Infuse I don’t have to manually click on the “Local” I added within the Files tab?

I just updated to the latest version of Infuse on Mac and still cannot keep the Side bar to hide normally. And once I do it does not persist upon restart of the app. Can anyone replicate this as described above?

With every new update to the Infuse Mac app, I check that the basic Interface issues are fixed, but they seem to persist, which makes me doubt whether it’s just on my end or if is something that can be replicated with others:

1. View - Hide Sidebar does not work in any view. To circumvent this bug one has to click within the *Search *field then select Hide Sidebar for it to hide.
2. Once the Sidebar is hidden, it can no longer be unhidden by selecting Show Sidebar
3. Infuse does not remember the View settings and they do not persist upon Restarting the app

Is this normal behavior? Can this be replicated and is the Infuse team aware of this and is it on the list of fixes? It seems basic interface interaction should be relative simple fixes compared to other issues and is fundamental to app’s core interfacing, as this has been an issue since the beginning.

Hey @james thanks for the update and the notification.

I’m not sure if I’m missing something but upon downloading the latest version of Infuse today, I see that both “Hide Toolbar” and “Hide Sidebar” are no longer a part of the “View” menu.

When you say this issue was fixed in 8.3 do you mean you completely discarded “Hide Toolbar” and “Hide Sidebar” or is there something I’m missing where the path to access those options is different?
