Iād really like this ability. Iād assume it would be really easy to hide ratings. Theyāre distracting to me, especially for TV show episodes that evidently donāt have many ratings. For instance, Iām watching Boardwalk Empire right now, and the ratings are bouncing all over the place per episodeāI assume because the number of votes from wherever the ratings come from is very low.

I also would like to have this feature. Seeing a particular rating sets and biases my viewing expectations.

Really? Any word why @James ? I was looking forward to that feature.
Worth noting that the dev of PlexMod4Kodi add-on allows users to disable all ratings entirely including rotten tomatoes, imdb and TMDB. And the option to choose which ratings source to display if you want.
If you have a Plex server, the Ugoos AM6B+ is the best client for personal media now. The PlexMod4Kodi dev is awesome and quick to add useful things for the community as well.
Kodi + PM4K add-on is the way to go if you want these kind of features in 2025 it seems. I thought infuse was really close to adding this.

I am still so confused why there is still no official communication on this feature. It was even moved to upcoming and then removed and still no word. If we would just know what is going onā¦
There is āofficialā communication, the tags are placed by the admin and are on the radar for their consideration. The upcoming features thread was narrowed down to a few upcoming releases since variables can cause items to be advanced or delayed based on present needs. This gives a more accurate indication of whatās coming when.
This thread is still tagged as pending so itās still on the radar to be looked at.

I see this is added to the 8.2 update!! I also see Metacritic ratings are being added with that update. So will this finally allow people to completely disable all ratings if they donāt want them displayed? Thanks a lot James and everyone for listening!
