Everytime I play any video in infuse it always shows the date and time at the top of the screen! No other video player does this and it is incredibly annoying. I have looked thru every setting and cannot find a way to hide the date and time status bar at the top of the screen when in full screen video playback. Can someone please explain how to turn this off???
Are you seeing this at all times or just when the playback controls are visible?
All times! If it was just when the controls were in view, or after tapping the screen it’d be no issue at all. But it is constantly there and drives me crazy when trying to watch a movie or show. It does it with every version of Infuse and does it in my iPad Pro 12.9” as well as my new iPad Pro 13” M4. Just updated to 4.3.7 but no change; it still constantly shows the top status bar with date, time and on the right side the battery, etc. I have included a screenshot to show exactly what I see…
Oddly, when trying to search for a solution before posting, I saw other posts requesting the date/time and battery be added as a feature! I don’t understand why I am seeing this and others apparently don’t but want to… I definitely don’t want to see anything but the video I’m playing. Since the status bar at the top is hidden on every other video player on iOS including if I play a file directly from Files, it would seem this should be the default behavior, so I don’t understand why it is always there!

Infuse version 4.3.7 is very old (more than 7 years old).
I suspect that changes in iOS/iPadOS are making this time visible which has been fixed in later versions of Infuse.
Probably the only solution is to upgrade to a newer/latest version of Infuse, which unfortunately will cost money.
Yes, as @remotevisitor suggested Infuse 4 was removed from the App Store in late 2016, so it has been nearly 9 years since it was last updated.
Upgrading to Infuse 8 will likely resolve the issues you are seeing here and you can receive a free year of Pro when upgrading.
