Help, Apple TV keeps loading

Hi, I hope someone can help me soon. Since yesterday, Infuse on my Apple TV 4K has been acting very strangely. It keeps loading data over and over again. I’ve already reset everything, but the issue persists. I even fully reset the Apple TV and removed my iCloud data. I’m also unable to send diagnostic data because I keep getting an error message. All my devices are updated to version 8.15, and I only have one profile on my account.

You’ll want to launch infuse and go to the Library settings page and watch the messages and let it complete the fetch and sync operations. It will take a bit since you have deleted everything and it has to start over. Once it has fully completed those operations the next time it won’t take as long but it needs to finish the first one completely.

I’ve let it on all night and all day, never took so long, same exact data are loading over and over again.

How do you know it’s the same data over and over? Couldn’t it be just building the data base? Do you ever see where it shows the fetch and sync are complete?

Because I wrote it down, I see the same exact total database that keeps loading over and over again, so yeah I can see it, but it does over and over. I have another (new) TV, took me max 2-3 hours to load an sync everything. Also I see iCloud failed everytime

Still struggling with my Apple TV. I did have a code now: FWT37. Can someone help me please? I don’t what’s going on

Your ATV may be clearing out the memory due to other apps and screen savers and causing Infuse to have to start again each time but the AWS cloud should help with that. iCloud sync is getting a major revamp in 8.1.6 so hang in there till it’s released and that should help.

Could you see something with the code? It’s really strange because it did work before on this ATV. Also keeps crashing

I don’t get the diagnostics, I’m not an employee of Firecore. I’m in the same boat as you. iCloud sync is failing for me also. I’m just waiting for 8.1.6 to hopefully get things back on track.

At this point it’s not only the iCloud failing, but also loading the data on and on. I only have this on my ATV 4K, if i have to load my whole library on my ATV HD it’s done in 2/3 hours. Really strange what’s going on. I dont have any problems with SSyncing on my Macbook and ATV HD at the moment.

iCloud Sync is getting a big revamp in the upcoming 8.1.6 release which we expect to have available within the next week. There’s a reasonable chance this update will help with any current iCloud related issues you are seeing.

Note: If you are getting an error when submitting diagnostics this may indicate a general network issue as Infuse is unable to connect to AWS (which runs about 30% of the entire internet) and this may also affect connectivity to iCloud.

Could this also fix the endlessly scanning the data? I’ve tried to leave it on nights and days, but keeps scanning. Like I saif before, don’t have this problem on my MacBook/iPad and ATV HD.

iCloud being faster could help with many things, so it will be worth seeing how the update works for you.
