HE-AAC 2.0 being played instead of AAC 5.1

I noticed that in all my files that have the first track as AAC 5.1 and the second (commentary) track HE-AAC 2.0 the commentary track is being played by default. Neither track has a “default” or “forced” track enabled.

Would you mind running one of these videos through MediaInfo and posting the specs?

Happy to!

Here’s screenshots if they’re easier to read.

Hmm, that is a little strange.

Was this file previously played, and the commentary track selected manually? If so, Infuse would remember than selection (for this particular video) and play that track if/when the same video is played again.

If that’s not the case, would you be willing to upload a sample we could review here?

Samples can be submitted here.

Hey, James. Nope. First time files were played. All of them in the series play commentary on a first run until switched to the main track. FYI, while this was happening when I was playing the files off of an NFS share I have since added them to my Plex library. Direct playing the series from Plex to the Infuse app does not play the commentary track by default so I have no idea what is triggering the incorrect audio track. I’m uploading a sample file as we speak.

Got your sample, thanks!

Will take a look at what is going on here.

FYI, I’ve noticed all of my movies that have HE-AAC commentary tracks are also being played by default over the standard default AAC track even when Direct Played from PMS.

Quick update.

We’ve tracked down what’s going on here, and will be including a fix in 6.0.3, which should be out within the next week or so.

Thanks for the report!

You guys rock!!
