HDR10+ issues on tvOS 18

Not sure if anyone else has noticed the same, but since upgrading to tvOS 18 on a second gen Apple TV 4K I have noticed issues playing content specifically with HDR10+ on Infuse when match dynamic range and frame rate is turned on.

When starting any HDR content, it takes a second for my TV to sync and switch to HDR mode which is compeltely normal. But noticed since the tvOS 18.0 and 18.1 updates, HDR10+ content takes a while, causing the TV to report “no signal” and the video pauses. Usually have to wait for the TV to eventually sync and play the file again.

This seems to be slightly quicker after the recent Infuse 8.0.3 update, but still long enough to make the signal to appear lost when syncing.

Also tried the tvOS 18.2 beta, with no luck.

Have tested with multiple HDR10+ files, and happens with all of them in Infuse. Does not happen with any regular HDR10. Does not seem to happen as drastically with any HDR10+ content from AppleTV+ or Amazon Prime, but still seems longer that it did before tvOS 18.
