Whenever I watch a HDR video on infuse on my iPhone 16 pro max it always looks dark. If I turn screen recording on the brightness increases. This happens on all HDR formats. HDR10, DV (I have this setting off now as well) and HDR10+. This also isn’t just on my iPhone 16 pro max. I had this issue on my iPhone 14 Pro Max as well but just never reported it.

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately I’m not able to provide the video file because the method I use to host stuff isn’t really a common method (I use real Debrid as “storage”). What I can confirm is that even when I used to watch locally hosted content no matter what file I would have this issue. Do you not get this issue on your iPhone? Every iOS device I’ve tried has this issue so I thought maybe Infuse just doesn’t activate HDR on my iPhone. The brightness is just way too low to be able to watch content and I have to resort to watching in 1080p or 4K SDR content. For some reason if I activate screen recording on the HDR file the phone instantly brightens up.
