Having trouble 5.0.1 untethered

Hi guys I am having trouble, I have gone from 5.0.1 tethered (No problems) to Apple TV 2 5.0.1 (iOS 5.1.1) Untethered now I seem to be having trouble

  1. I can not install atv Flash (black) 1.5 just says it is out of date or Im not connected to the internet.

  2. can not install nitoTV (ssh in with putty and do the commands but doesnt show on ATV2

  3. Can not install XBMC (same as above ssh)

the FC logo is there and I have tried it again just incase the first jailbreak didn’t go right and also tried two different cables to connect the atv2 to the computer, I have jailbroken my ATV2 for quite a while and never had any problems, Can someone please help me.

Item 1) is likely to be caused by the load on the servers as everyone tries to update at once.

Items 2) and 3) are outside FireCore control and should be addressed in their specific forums.

A new version of aTV Flash (black) 1.5.1 has been released.

The way it works is the installer of aTV Flash gets the latest version, as shown in the screenshot. If it is out of date it will not process it.

I normally breeze through new jailbreaks but i am having some issues, jailbreak went fine but now atvflash is just stuck on transferring files.

 

Edit: fixed the problem by replacing the atvflash in applications rather than just clicking on the icon as this was bringing up an older version, so i would say delete all older versions on your computer then try again

Hi guys thanks for the replys, I have now got everything sorted and is working great.

All I did was update to the latest release of atv flash (black) dated 25th May 2012 and everything installed without a problem.

I am using the latest 1.5.1 and still having problems. It won’t even install Media Player. Isn’t that part of atv Flash (black) ?

NitoTV, Weather and Couch Surfer (Browser) but nothing else.
