I’d like to see the movie titles in their original language. Currently the only way I have seen is to retrieve the metadata in the original language. The problem of that option is that it applies to all metadata. In particular I find annoying that even the genre is translated and you will end up as having a lot of duplicates genres, since one genre may be listed with separate entries depending on the language
When it comes to language, Infuse should be able to make the distinction between meta data which belong to the movie (e.g. the title which the director choses) and the metadata which is used to classify and organize the movie (chosen by movies reviewers). The organizing metadata language should follow the user interface language preference (not the original language of the movie). I cannot see the use case of having the genre with data from different languages. In my case it should be all english for the genre, but movie titles would be the original ones.
This feature by the way exist in IMDB.
