Hardware acceleration implementation ? Infuse seems to require a lot of power

Hello,

Are you using some kind of hardware acceleration ?
I feel that power consuption is quite huge compared to other player (AVPlayer HD for example) even on mp4 files.

For a 45 minutes épisodes, it burns more than 20% of my battery.

I keep using Infuse because of the subtitles and Trakt advanced support but power usage really needs to be improved.

Yes, Infuse does use hardware acceleration for compatible formats. Which type of device are you using? Which version of iOS? Jailbroken by chance?

This happens to me on a non jailbroken iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.4 when playing MP4 files (resolution is roughly 720*400).

Most of the time subtitles are anabled.
