I keep episode numbers in my file names to ensure that they sort correctly and play back in the correct order due to TVDB’s naming conventions.
This seems to confuse Infuse, and it doesn’t group together any of those episodes as a series. I have to manually edit the metadata for each file individually (there really needs to be a group editing option).
For example:
Battlestar Galactica - 001 - s00e01 - Battlestar Galactica: The Miniseries (1)
Battlestar Galactica - 002 - s00e02 - Battlestar Galactica: The Miniseries (2)
Battlestar Galactica - 003 - s01e01 - 33
Battlestar Galactica - 004 - s01e02 - Water
…
Battlestar Galactica - 054 - s03e19 - Crossroads (1)
Battlestar Galactica - 055 - s03e20 - Crossroads (2)
Battlestar Galactica - 056 - s00e04 - Razor
Battlestar Galactica - 057 - s04e01 - He That Believeth in Me
…
Battlestar Galactica - 074 - s04e18 - Islanded in a Stream of Stars
Battlestar Galactica - 075 - s04e19-20 - Daybreak
Battlestar Galactica - 076 - s00e22 - The Plan
Note that the specials are interleaved between seasons rather than all playing sequentially at the end.
Some TV shows even have specials appearing in the middle of a season.
I’m not sure how the playback order would be handled by Infuse, since it seems to group specials separately from seasons, but it would be a big help if it could identify the shows correctly rather than having to manually edit them all.
