A lot of this will be done automatically for you when browsing your videos through the Library.
Movie sequels will be grouped into a single collection. These will be listed in the Library > Movies > All Movies section, as well as the dedicated Library > Movies > Collections section.
TV shows will be group into series and season. These can be accessed through Library > TV Shows > All TV Shows.
