The sort order for Emby and Jellyfin ignore the global setting within infuse. I have that set to release date but every folder defaults to “Title” Is there a way to have it copy the global option? Or at least apply that sorting to the share as a whole rather than each individual folder? Furthermore plex does not sort by release date at all.
Are you using direct mode or the Library mode?

I believe that sort order is a function of the server when using direct mode. The Infuse library settings affect the Library mode.
Direct Mode has separate sorting options, so the global options will not apply to these libraries/folders.
You can adjust the sorting of libraries and folders while browsing, and these settings will be retained for future sessions. This also allows you to have different sorting options for different libraries.
