General Lag and unresponsiveness with high bitrate videos?

Hello, is anything being done about the laggy and unresponsive UI when you try to play high bitrate videos or start building a larger library?

I use an Apple TV 4K latest generation with ethernet. The source of my library is Plex.

I’ve tried all of the methods from the numerous other posts about this topic but it doesn’t seem like any of them work for anyone.

Has there been any communication or acknowledgement of this issue from the Firecore team?

Define high bit rate. I’m still running the first 4K atv and it plays fine on Ethernet SMB.

4K Remuxes. I was wondering if it had to do with the library size. I think I have about 500 movies but still have about 16TB of space left on my NAS.

Could you do a speed test in Infuse and let it run to 100% then post the results and graph?
