From atv2 with 5.1 ---> 4.4.4 tethred !!!

Hi

I succeeded to switch my atv2. With 5.1 to 4.4.4 tethred using an other device blobs.

Now when i use ifaith with this new tethred machine i optain new 4.4.4 blobs with correct Ecid !!!

Still just to follow the old post to pass to 4.4.4 tethred

I will update you tonight eith results

Note that i am using itunes 10.6 and not 10.6.1 outed yesterday

Yes, I have also been able to complete this procedure using a 4.4.4 blob from a different apple tv.    Still need to boot up tethered though.

Yes, I have booted tethered and now running 4.4.4 as well.   I’m just saying that this is still a tethered jailbreak, just like 4.4.2.

I did it !

Downloaded the new Seas0nPass for mac then on Seas0nPass click right on the create IPK and select 4.4.4 then let it do the process, at the end on iTunes I got an error message but after plugin the apple TV on my TV to check it and it did work.

So happy to be back to 4.4.4

Did you have to boot tethered in order for it to work?   Or did you just plug it into your tv and the menu came up?

Good to heard that. Its working with XBMC?. Can you post instruction how to jailbrake it from 5.1 to 4.4.4.

It’s untethered , nothing special just put it in dfu more and then started seas0npass click right selected 4.4.4 and done

Which blobs ?

I understand that you are on 444 untethred ??
