Frodo? I like Eden but..

Hi I am thinking about getting a gen 1 but Eden is only available, so my question is will frodo be available for it? I don’t mind Eden but I know it’s only a matter of time before the add ons stop working on eden

Unfortunately Eden will be the latest version of XBMC for the ATV1 sine Frodo dropped support for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) which the Apple TV is based on. Sorry.

so James, once the add ons stop working for the gen 1 all of the people with it are out of luck? like all of the add ons stop working on dharma

It’s hard to say, but I can imagine a scenario where support for Eden is kept around a bit longer since there is a pretty good sized group of ATV1 users who can’t upgrade to anything later. Only time will tell though.

After installing Frodo on my Apple TV2, its very slower then Eden 11.

I remove Frodo and install old Eden 11 back to my Apple TV2.
