Frame rate for 720p content

Hello,

I’m trying a couple of MKV files (H264, MPEG-4 AVC, 48.000Hz, 1536kb/s, 1280x544), that play smoothly on my iMac, but they appear a bit choppy when seen through the media player of aTV Flash black. I’ve the latest version of everything running.

Is this something to do with specific file types and resolution, or with aTV in general? Can we look forward for this to be resolved?

I’m seeing the same thing with a bunch of my MKV files. I have a ticket open for choppy video playback (audio is fine) when playing MPGEG2 MKVs. There is also a forum topic on 720p MKVs that include Dolby TrueHD or DTS Master. I have a bunch of other 720p MKV files w/ AC3 DD that play back perfectly though.
