It would be helpful to be able to filter search results to movies, tv shows or actors.
I like the way it is done on TV OS where movies and TV shows are separate, on iOS however everything is just bundled in with no easy way to scroll or filter based on category being searched.
Some show titles contain repeating characters. When I search using those characters, the results prioritize cast or crew members instead of the show itself, so I have to scroll down to find what I’m looking for.
It would help to give shows higher weight in search results, or add a category filter that, by default, searches for shows only. This would make the search experience more accurate and efficient.
