So since version 7.7 and still present in the new 8.0, I have a problem when deleting an episode or movie.
Once I have watched an episode, I click on the trashcan to delete it. The confirmation box comes up and I select delete. But that episode stays on screen, unless I press back (to the home screen) and then back into the season. Only then is it removed from my library.
So that we are on the same page, the file IS deleted. Coz if I press play on the “deleted” episode, it gives an error (file is no longer there).
I am connected to Plex. I do not have auto select next enabled because the “cursor” does not move to the play button when the next episode is “auto selected”, but stays on the trashcan and I have deleted too many files in error because of this.
The back and forth out of a TV season or movie collection is driving me nuts…
Hi, just wondering, maybe it has some reasoning, but anyway. On Apple TV when I finished watching a TV episode, I delete it inside TV show menu, but when it’s deleted it still stays on this episode screen. It might be reasonable when there are other episodes, but when it’s only one, I assume it would be better to put user back to Home screen, like it’s happening for example when I delete movie after watching. Thx, hope I explained it as I intended to.
Hi, I brought this up a couple of weeks ago. No response. It happens in movies also. Actually it’s been happening for the last couple of releases (even before 8.0)
I think it created another problem. Now after deletion when the deleted episode disappears the next episode also disappears (it does not get deleted). I have to go back to the main screen and re-enter the show’s page to see the episode again.
