Dear Infuse Team,
I am a big fan of your app and use it daily. I would like to request a very useful feature that many users with multi-language libraries would appreciate.
Request: Allow users to set a different metadata language per Folder or per Favorite.
Use case:
• I have two separate folders on my NAS:
• One folder contains only Italian movies → I want titles, plots, cast, etc. in Italian.
• Another folder contains only French movies → I want metadata in French.
Currently, the metadata language is a single global setting, so I have to constantly switch it and re-scan, which often mixes up the languages.
Ideal solution:
• Option to set preferred metadata language individually for each Favorite (or even per folder when browsing).
• When adding a new Favorite, Infuse could ask for the preferred metadata language for that library.
This would make Infuse much more powerful for users with collections in multiple languages (Italian/English/French/Spanish, etc.) without needing Plex or Jellyfin.
I believe this is a long-requested feature and it would be greatly appreciated by the community.
