Hopefully this is not a dumb question, when I follow the instructions to add a favourite in media player (to appear on the main page) holding select for 2 seconds puts the apple TV into standby not bring up the menu to add… any ideas?
Are you on the main page whilst trying to add a favourite?
Have you navigated to the share/folder combination that you wish to set as a favourite before attempting to hold down the Select button?
