Favourites in new UI

Before I upgrade, could somebody tell me how Favourite folders are treated in the new Apple UI.

I find it helpful to be able to access these directly from the main menu in 4.4.4.

Can you still do this after upgrading to the new UI?

Yo have a media icon, and once you enter there, you ll see your favourites

In 5.0+ Favorites will be listed in the top navigation bar after clicking the Media icon.
